Mom's Pan-Fried Bun 老娘水煎包 | Newmarket – Delicious Pan-Fried Dumplings & More

Great dumpling place. This location is much less busy than the other one at Kennedy and Highway 7. The pigs ears and one of the dumplings came out super fast. And the others came fairly quickly as well. Little pan fried dumplings were a hit with the kids. Fried chicken is pretty juicy. Chicken cartilage had some extra crispies and were good. Squid skewers were pretty decent. The noodles were good. Super good value. Would definitely come back.

Tried Mom’s Pan-Fried Buns in Newmarket for the first time and ordered a variety of dishes to get the full experience. Everything came out quickly, which was impressive considering how much we ordered. The food was tasty, portions were generous, and the prices are very reasonable - honestly no complaints at all. It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re getting great value without sacrificing quality. Overall, a solid place for casual, delicious eats. Definitely worth coming back to.

My favorite neighborhood restaurant like my family kitchen. Foods are delicious with a lot of choices. Clean, nice environment with always friendly staff. Very good place to go when you don't want to cook or can't decide what to eat.

Super nice to have something hot, tasty and quickly served, especially with a hungry boy after a hockey game in Magna Centre. Couldn’t help ordering a whole table. All nice! Loved the beef noodle the most! Forgot to say, the waitress was very sweet!

My friends and I met up here for a reunion dinner and we tried so many items!! Quite delicious!! The menu is huge and so reasonably priced!! I liked that the menu is posted outside The people were very kind. We found the ordering system a bit weird-- but not too complicated; you scan a QR code at your seat to access the ordering site. It takes some getting used to, but we figured it out The dining room is bright and cheerful, however it isn't huge, but seemed ok for the crowd that came for dinner. The washrooms are in back and felt like we were walking through an area we shouldn't be to get there. Many of the dishes were unfamiliar to us but seemed to be being enjoyed a lot by many of the patrons!! Hope you like it too!! PS I know it's weird at an Asian restaurant, but the Mom's beef burger was so good- a must try!!

Staff is very attentive and we were seated almost immediately. They had great prices for our favourites dishes. And the food is always hot and fresh. There were a lot of items on the menu we haven’t seen in the Markham location, so we tried the new Taiwanese pork dish with eggs- juicy, tender, delicious!

Dinned here back in Oct 2024 so my memories are a little foggy. I recall the service being somewhat abrupt initially hence the 4 stars for service but overall it was a good dinning experience with all dishes being very tasty and of high quality. I would definitely return.
